If you’re here, chances are you’re the one who holds everything together.
You’re capable, reliable, and high-functioning on the outside—but underneath, you’re tired. Maybe you’ve noticed that life feels heavier than it used to. You push through your days, take care of everyone else, and tell yourself you should be able to handle it… yet something still feels off.
Many of the women I work with say things like:
“I don’t feel like myself anymore.”
“I can’t relax, even when nothing is wrong.”
“I’m exhausted, but I don’t know how to stop.”
If that sounds familiar, you’re not broken—and you’re not alone.
ABOUT COURTNEY BERGIN, LCSW, LICSW
Let’s build a life that actually supports you
How I Work
I’m a licensed therapist serving adult women in Connecticut and Massachusetts through telehealth. My work focuses on helping women who have spent years over-functioning—at work, in relationships, and within their families—learn how to slow down, set boundaries, and reconnect with themselves in a way that feels safe and sustainable.
Rather than just talking about what’s wrong, we work with what your body and nervous system have been holding onto for years. I use trauma-informed, body-based approaches including EMDR, Brainspotting, and somatic therapy to help you process old patterns, reduce overwhelm, and build a sense of internal steadiness.
Therapy with me is not about fixing you because there is nothing wrong with you—it’s about creating space for you to feel supported, grounded, and more like yourself again.
Who I Work Best With
I work primarily with women who:
Feel responsible for everyone else’s needs
Struggle with perfectionism, people-pleasing, or hyper-independence
Feel chronically overwhelmed, anxious, or emotionally disconnected
Grew up learning they had to be “the strong one”
Are tired of surviving and want something steadier, calmer, and more supportive
Many of my clients are successful on paper—but deeply exhausted inside.
What You Can Expect
In our work together, you can expect:
A space where you don’t have to perform or explain yourself
Therapy that goes deeper than coping skills and surface-level insight
Support in building boundaries that actually protect your energy
A pace that honors your nervous system—not pushes past it
This is a space where you don’t have to hold everything together.
Moving Forward
Healing doesn’t mean becoming someone new—it means coming back to yourself.
If you’re ready to stop white-knuckling your life and start building something that truly supports you, let’s do this!
